MAGIC BOX: THE NEW MINIMALUX “NEON” LIGHT

MAGIC BOX: THE NEW MINIMALUX “NEON” LIGHT

THIS NEW LIGHT by  London-based design company Minimalux might be called NEON, but it isn’t really a neon.  It’s so called because it gives off the similarly bright glow of the familiar strip lights.

NEON comes in a range of colours — and look brilliant as a group — and is illuminated by a conventional energy saving bulb. How it works is that the bulb lights up the internal surfaces of the folded steel box and the light is made visible through slim slots on the edges of the box.

NEON was just launched at the London Design Festival and is available in five colours.
